- (MMDA) (депозитный счет денежного рынка) Высокоприбыльные сберегательные счета, введенные в США в 1982 г., чтобы дать возможность институтам, принимающим вклады, конкурировать за средства вкладчиков с денежными рынками. До тех пор, пока баланс счета превышает 1000 долл., размеры вклада никак нормативно не ограничиваются. В случае, если баланс меньше 1000 долл., процентная ставка понижается. Ограничения по такого рода счетам касаются снятия с них денег (три раза в месяц) и трансфертов для оплаты счетов (три раза в месяц).
